The Quechua Name Pachamama means the mother of time and space. She is revered under various names such as Gaia, Mother Earth, and Cosmic Mother by indigenous communities worldwide. She is the giver of life to all beings on Earth, nurturing and providing for each of her children. However, in the Western world, we have lost our connection to living in harmony with Mother Earth. This disconnect has led to experiences of burnout, anxiety, a lack of belonging, feeling lost, loneliness, and overall dis-ease.
As a global society we need to find new ways of being in this world so we can return to peace within and without. Now is the time of the feminine to rise within each of us. Returning to Pachamama - a personal journey
Almost a decade ago, my beloved elders from the Andean Q’ero community imparted to me the sacred wisdom of reconnection. This wisdom has become the cornerstone of my life, catalyzing profound transformation.
What once felt like a journey of being lost, burnt out, and displaced in the world has evolved into a deep, unshakable sense of belonging and purpose. Rediscovering the love for life, I've regained strength with every adventure, knowing that Pachamama's unwavering support accompanies me through life's journey. This connection has nurtured resilience within my nervous system, allowing me to navigate life with grace and ease.
My service in this life is homage to her; I let her move through me, speak through me, and teach her knowledge through me, so that others may remember what it's like to be loved, safe, heard, and seen.
